Cross na Wrzosach is now WrzosRun

The same event — a new name

Cross na Wrzosach has been renamed to WrzosRun. It is still the same run, in the same unique place — the blooming heathlands of the Okonek Heathland Reserve (Natura 2000) near Okonek. Only the name and the website changed (formerly crossnawrzosach.pl, now wrzos.run); the format, route and atmosphere stay the same.

What stays the same

• Place: Okonek Heathland Reserve near Okonek.
• Distances: 10 km run, 5 km run and 5 km nordic walking.
• Kids' races: from 100 m to 800 m, in age categories.
• Character: a scenic route across heathlands and forest paths, family atmosphere, late August.
• Organiser: Okonek Forest District (Nadleśnictwo Okonek).

Event history

The run has been held since 2015. In 2025 the 11th edition took place as Cross na Wrzosach. From 2026 the event continues as WrzosRun — with the same tradition, place and format.
